KELVA BEACH
This is a good option for the residents of Mumbai and nearby. One can reach by own vehicle or by train, for which nearest station is Kelva Road, at a distance of half an hour from Virar. From railway station distance to beach is approx 8 kms. Beach is clean and worth spending time.

The beach is clean and good. The route is amazing. The ghats and the newly paved roads add to the beauty of the place. The bridge on Vaitarna river in the morning is fascinating as you can see the fog over the river and can see the sunrise from behind the mountains.

The beach majority of the times remains unfit for swim because of the water flow but one can surely spend some peaceful time here. The colour of sand and cleanliness might be a point of concern at times.This beach much Cleaner than beaches of Mumbai. Beach is very stretched it ideal for long walk.

Good place to visit with your friends and Family. You can easily spend 3-4 hours exploring this place. Beach is clean and has many other spots. It has a Fort and a Temple. Horse Riding, Camel Riding and ATV Bike Riding is also available on the beach. Also, there are many Restaurants and Resorts nearby.

The beach is around 2kms long and has a broad sandy area. Due to this it's rarely crowded even on weekends. At the centre there are few ice cream, chaat and coconut water stalls. Overall a very beautiful place to relax..

Nice beach for timepass and hangout. Also good for photoshoot. The sunset and sunrise is most beautiful think is to see here. Also the local people are very supportive. There are some parking problem. Road which goes there are very small. But the experience is good.
