Kelva Beach fort
Kelva fort has a great glorified history. The fort was built by Portuguese amid the sixteen century and is situated at the southern end of the lovely and peaceful Kelva beach. The fort was utilized by Chathrapathi Shivaji Maharaja amid his Maratha rule. The fort offers dazzling all-encompassing perspectives of the natural surroundings secured by greenish Suru trees and ocean. It has lovely structures, captivating buildings and stunning architecture alongside the culture that will simply excite you.

Beautiful, Silent and clean. This beach has a great environment as well as clean water which is rarely seen in Mumbai beaches. Great destination for two day trip to sooth your soul.

Just the right place to relax and sooth your mind and soul. Clean and calm beach. No much of crowd. Resorts available nearby. Locals are very helpful.

It’s very small fort. Good to spend some time with friends & family. But, the structure is broken very badly. It’s not being taken care of. But still, you can enjoy scenery here, especially in sunset/sunrise time. You can take good photographs, also beach is very close, you can take advantage of it.

Good fort in kelwa beach near shitaladevi temple. The fort is star shapped with 5 small bastion. The doors in the fort are burried in sand. Love making idiot couples occupied some area in fort. The adverstising of some local hotel on the wall of fort indicates how locals are spoiling our monuments.
